Sanitary Mixers Series features

At  Dynamix Agitators this is a highly configurable line of sanitary mixers, ideal for FDA, USDA and other Sanitary Standards. Standard models includes high quality 316 Stainless Steel construction and epoxy coated drive throughout. This offers cleanliness where needed. Sanitary Finish option available for the wetted parts upon request. 

GEAR DRIVES

Available with our DMX 5000* Cycloidial Gearbox, or a right angle gearbox.
Our DMX 5000 offers an industry leading 3 year warranty. Stainless Steel Helical gear
box comes standard with USDA Class H1 approved lubricant.
 

AUXILIARY BEARING CONFIGURATION

DURABILITY: Auxiliary bearings are the difference between an economy mixer
and one designed for long-term use. Dynamix uses auxiliary bearings in order to
isolate loads from the drive. This allows the gearbox to run efficiently and without
damage.

QUALITY CONTROL WITH FOOD GRADE SANITARY MIXERS

Dynamix offers a wide variety of wash-down duty motors fitted to the agitator section of the mixer.  These mixers are built for reliability and clean-ability. Some features of the motor are:

  • Stainless steel (option) construction of housing, conduit box, drain plugs and hardware, fan cover and end plates.  Safeguards against corrosion.  Food safe and meets NAMI guidelines
  • Encapsulation / potted leads for additional protection against water and humidity
  • Shaft seals – two barrier mechanical seals, prevents water from entering the shaft extension of the motor
  • Winding Insulation – can withstand swings in operating temperature in the food manufacturing industry
  • Advanced Sealing, exceeds IP69K
  • Meets NEMA standards 
  • Available in Single Phase or 3 Phase models
  • Available in 1/2 to 2 HP ( Upto 30 Hp as option )
  • Designed for uncompromised food safety and equipment reliability
In addition the agitator section, is configured with 316 stainless steel shafts and impeller. Other materials are available as options

CUSTOMIZABLE IMPELLERS

OPTIMIZED MIXING Impeller selection is a key point of any mixer configuration.
Starting with the right impeller lets the rest of the mixer work in balance and
deliver quality mixing. Issues such as uniformity, shear, solids
suspension, and many others are addressed through the impeller selection.

DYNAMIC DRIVE COUPLING FOR SANITARY MIXING APPLICATIONS

The Integrated Tote Mixer design allows you to easily re-configure the unit by mixing and matching the drive and agitator segments. This means that you can use the same tote mixer drive across multiple totes or applications. Because the two components are designed to attach and detach without using tools or brackets, you can now assemble the tote mixer that your process needs in seconds. It’s mechanism works similar to a ratchet set. Eliminate product cross-contamination cost-effectively by sharing the drive segment across between totes without sharing the agitator segments.

FOUR BLADED COLLAPSIBLE IMPELLERS FOR SANITARY MIXING APPLICATIONS

Using larger impeller blades for mixing in a tote has been a challenge for most sanitary mixing applications, in past. At Dynamix, we’ve designed collapsible impellers to fit in the small opening on top of the totes you use as a mixing vessel. For instance our 4-bladed collapsible impellers allow blades up to 20” in diameter to enter through the small openings of a tote. Therefore,  creating the controlled mixing environment you expect from larger mixers. Above all, the process manager will be able to achieve better product quality, mixer performance, and energy efficiency increases with a properly sized impeller.

Stainless steel motor, 316 grade steel shafts, and electro-polished components, make our mixer configuration safe for food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and biotech processing.
